Pediatric Pharmacist Specialist, Oncology experience preferred
FTE: 1.0 Shift: Day Schedule: Days, rotating every 3rd weekend required
The Pharmacist Specialty Services is a vital role within the MultiCare pharmacy department. Perform patient outreach to ensure accurate and timely filling of specialty pharmaceuticals
Collaborate with clinic staff to connect patients with MHS specialty pharmacy resources
Process prior authorization (PA) requests from specialty clinics
Determine patient eligibility and enroll patients in copay assistance and medication assistance programs when appropriate
Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred
Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in setting appropriate to work assignment (hospital, retail, clinic or other)
