Emerson Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing Outpatient Rehabilitation team. In this role, you will work alongside talented Physical Therapists to provide exceptional patient-centered care, helping individuals recover from injuries, improve mobility, and return to the activities they love.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Physical Therapist Assistant with a strong background in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine who is passionate about delivering high-quality care in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
Assist patients in achieving rehabilitation goals through individualized treatment plans
Treat a diverse patient population with orthopedic, musculoskeletal, sports medicine, and post-surgical conditions
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Deliver exceptional customer service and promote a positive patient experience
Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program required

3-5 years of Physical Therapist Assistant experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting required

• Strong experience treating orthopedic and sports medicine diagnoses preferred
• Experience with post-operative rehabilitation and manual therapy techniques is highly desirable

Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required
Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers required
Commitment to patient satisfaction, service excellence, and quality outcomes
Proficiency with electronic medical records and computer applications
