REGISTERED NURSE - UROLOGY/GYN SURGERY

Registered Nurse (RN) - PACUWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse with a specialty in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient recovery across various surgical disciplines and demonstrate proficiency in acute care settings.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical proceduresMonitor patient vitals and responsiveness, ensuring a safe recoveryAdminister medications and manage pain control effectivelyAssist with coverage in Pre-Op as necessaryCollaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient careEvaluate and document patient progress during recoveryQualificationsActive RN license and required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHMinimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in PACU or critical care settingsExperience with pediatric patients and various surgeries, including ortho, neuro, general, urology, dental (Adults and PEDS), GYN, and PEDS ENT (Tonsillectomy, Bronchial Mucus and Tracheostomy)Familiarity with monitoring patients with nerve blocks, chest tube insertions, central lines, intubation, and A-linesExperience in a Level II trauma setting is preferredAbility to work Monday through Friday, with occasional call requirementsWork EnvironmentThis role requires a commitment to patient care and the ability to thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment.
