Registered Nurse, RN - Full Time Weekend Position, Evening and Night Shift

Registered Nurse (RN)The Oxford Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, a 120-bed skilled nursing facility, is hiring per diem RNs! As an RN at our center, you will provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. $42 to $47 an hour with weekly pay, depending on the shift, including shift differentials. Evenings, overnights, and weekends have shift differentials.Responsibilities:Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each residentMaintain current resident care plansRender and/or assist with complete nursing care, treatments, dressings, and other physician ordersTranscribe physician's orders promptly and accuratelyReview patient records daily to ensure accuracy and completenessDocument comprehensive and complete nursing notesVisit each resident daily to evaluate resident needsMaintain accurate awareness of residents on alert listDocument and report any unusual or significant findings; contact the physician when necessaryAdminister medication according to procedureMaintain an accurate and safe control of all drugs for which he/she is responsibleRequirements:Must possess at least a nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing or collegeMust be CPR certifiedMust have a current and active RN license in the state, or be in the process of obtaining oneMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageMust possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actionsNew graduates welcome!Benefits:Weekly PayHoliday & Overtime PayCareer Advancement OpportunitiesExclusive Employer Discount Program401(k) with Employer MatchAvailable for Full-Time Staff:Employer-Paid Life InsuranceVacation and Personal TimeHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceWe are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
