HR GeneralistEIS Holding, LLC, is one of the largest providers of turnkey environmental services in the country, providing soil and groundwater remediation, asbestos and lead abatement, demolition, mold remediation, and air duct cleaning.Director of Human ResourcesPurpose of the PositionThe HR Generalist (People Operations) is the operational engine of HR service delivery. This role manages the "front door" HR intake process, executes HR transactions, supports benefits administration and reporting, and provides payroll support/backup coverage through documented processes and cross-training with Payroll Manager. The role also supports HR-led acquisition integration activities by coordinating onboarding logistics, training administration, and data readiness. Spanish/bilingual capability is preferred.Essential Position ResponsibilitiesOwn daily HR inbox operations using a structured triage model.Process employee lifecycle transactions (new hires, status changes, transfers, terminations) according to established approvals and audit standards.Maintain HR documentation, acknowledgments, and personnel file organization.Assist with census/eligibility audits and recurring HR reporting (headcount, turnover, onboarding completion, basic dashboards).Serve as trained payroll backup in partnership with the Payroll Manager, providing coverage as needed for payroll processing so payroll continuity is protected during PTO/leave/unplanned absence.Coordinate onboarding logistics for newly acquired employees (data collection, document completion, training scheduling, Day 1 readiness).Physical activities: Sitting, typing, and working on a computer for extended periods.
