Neonatologist – Level III NICU – Philadelphia, PA – Academic Appointment

Christopher’s Hospital for Children is recruiting a full-time BC/BE Neonatologist to join our team. As part of a multi-disciplinary and clinically integrated team you will provide care to the patients within our affiliated Level III NICU and Academic Medical Center in Philadelphia .
Work in the Level III NICU at Temple Women & Families, a newly designed, state-of-the-art 42-bed NICU. Temple Women and Families is the only campus in the Philadelphia area exclusively dedicated to women’s and families’ health.

• Approximately 2,500 deliveries a year and 400 NICU admissions. Caring for babies as young as 23 weeks gestation
• 2 Neonatologists and 1 Physician Assistant – day shift, 1 Neonatologist and 1 Physician Assistant – night shift, NICU certified RNs, Social Workers, Nutritionists and tenured support staff.
• 24/7 Neonatal Physician Assistants in NICU to provide support
• Newborn Nursery is staffed by pediatricians.
• The division has a strong commitment to quality improvement work and participates in the Vermont Oxford Network.
• This strong team-based approach focuses on providing the highest level of quality care and delivers excellent health outcomes that exceed the national average for critically ill newborns each year.

Christopher’s Hospital for Children , a partnership between Tower Health and Drexel University, is a 188-bed facility that provides exceptional care to children throughout the Greater Philadelphia area and surrounding counties.
