Role Description The Admission Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Austin, TX. In this position, the counselor engages prospective students and families through campus visits, information sessions, college fairs, and virtual or in-person outreach. Responsibilities include advising applicants on admission requirements, guiding them through the application and enrollment process, and accurately reviewing applications in alignment with institutional policies. Candidates should possess organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills to handle outreach, event coordination, and application review efficiently.

Candidates should possess comfort with data entry, student information systems, and common office software to manage records and generate reports.

Candidates should possess relationship-building and customer service skills to provide respectful, responsive, and inclusive support to diverse communities.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as education, communications, counseling, or a related discipline is preferred.

Familiarity with colleges and universities in Texas or the Austin area, and the ability to work some evenings and weekends for events, is advantageous.
