We're looking for a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for an immediate travel position opening in Fort Worth, TX. The right CRT must have 1 year of recent acute care experience. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in various clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.
Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; Interact with co-workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for the patient being treated.
Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support.

Qualifications & Requirements Certified Respiratory Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty, lift up to 20 pounds easily, and occasionally move or lift up to 50 pounds. Must have NBRC-CRT, BLS, and ACLS. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
