General Maintenance and Repair Tech (Full Time)

SWAP is hiring a full time General Maintenance Technician for Residential Apartments in Providence, RI.
Successful candidate will be able to respond to work orders for a variety of repairs such as minor plumbing, minor electrical, appliances, light carpentry, painting, general repairs required at apartment turnover and exterior needs including grounds.
On-call emergency - rotation.
Will work with a team of Techs to maintain all properties in our portfolio.

Some weekend hours may be required.
Description of Duties: Handles services requests for repairs and improvements
Prepares vacant units for market ready conditions
Performs various non-technical functions such as maintaining exterior, cleaning grounds, ground equipment repairs and preventative maintenance, caulking and painting and lock repairs.
Responsible for interior / exterior and common areas of apartment community Cleaning of driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, exterior hallways and any other common areas.
On-call emergency maintenance - rotation required Snow removal Complete other tasks assigned
Required: Valid Driver's License with good driving record
Reliable transportation for local travel
Current Vehicle Insurance
Skilled in safe handling of small and power tools including snow blowers
One year maintenance experience
Able to list 50 lbs.plus
Comfortable in all weather conditions
Bi-lingual a plus but not required
Pay Range: Starting at $20.00 - $22.00 based upon level of experience
