Urology of Indiana is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist to join our growing team as a Urologic Hospitalist . This physician will focus on inpatient urologic care, emergency department consults, hospital transfers, urgent surgical interventions, and care coordination across participating hospital facilities.

This role is designed for physicians who enjoy acute care urology and want to practice in a hospital-based environment without the demands of a traditional outpatient clinic schedule. The position operates as continuous 24-hour coverage in a one-week-on, one-week-off rotation, providing for 26 weeks off each year. Dedicated inpatient and hospital-based practice

• Provide emergency department and transfer-center support
• Perform urgent and emergent urologic procedures
• Collaborate closely with advanced practice providers (APPs), hospitalists, emergency medicine physicians, intensivists, and surgical teams
• No outpatient clinic responsibilities
• 1 week on / 1 week off rotation with 24-hour-per-day coverage during the on week
• Strong administrative and operational support
• Opportunity to participate in development of an innovative hospital-based urology service line

Evaluate and manage inpatient urology consults

Conduct daily rounds and coordinate discharge planning

Provide emergency and urgent urologic care

Perform hospital-based procedures and surgeries as clinically indicated

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care

Maintain timely documentation and compliance with quality metrics

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Completion of an accredited Urology Residency Program

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology

Eligible for medical licensure in Indiana

DEA registration and ability to obtain hospital privileges

Experience in hospital-based or acute-care urology

Interest in process improvement, quality initiatives, and service-line development
