Inventory Control Coordinator Job Summary: The Inventory Control Coordinator provides general support to all inbound inventory requests and needs from the field, serving as the direct liaison between field sales agents and internal teams to reduce excess inventory, manage restocks, and ensure timely delivery of surgical materials.
Responsibilities Work with the inventory optimization team to analyze kit health and consignment placement.
Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Finance to support inventory balancing initiatives.
Assist in creating information dashboards and conduct data analysis to pull back underperforming and obsolete inventory from the field.
Lead distributor meetings to discuss current and forecasted business needs.
Process loaner and inventory variances and discrepancies related to loaner returns and field‑based analysis.
Support field‑based agents in managing and returning soon‑to‑expire inventory.
Co‑manage projects with the demand control team to retrieve and manage TLDs in the field as needed.
Coordinate with Demand Control for par levels, Account Management for order completion, and the Distribution Center for tracking shipments, order history, and customer concerns.
Effectively communicate live inventory logistic status to field partners.
Ensure order accuracy and availability by coordinating with distributor office managers and reps in the field.
Manage internal controls such as product access, restrictions, back‑orders, and par levels.
Use ERP/MRP software programs to loan, receive, ship, issue, and monitor inventory; coordinate with shipping companies when required.
Schedule pick‑ups and contact third‑party carriers to deliver product on time.
Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong accountability, and enthusiasm with the proven ability to adapt to changing business needs.
Act as a customer‑facing liaison, providing prompt, friendly service that often exceeds expectations.
Travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years of recent work experience in medical device and/or inventory distribution/warehouse setting.
Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) required; experience with SAP preferred.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with Google Sheets.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; professional presence.
Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
Ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
Experience collaborating between cross‑functional teams.
Experience leading meetings and presenting high‑level information to teams.
Exceptional verbal and written communication in English.
