Dental Hygienist - Fulltime

Boundless Health is a new nonprofit healthcare organization created by the Boundless family of companies, which has more than forty years of experience providing residential support, autism services, day programs, counseling, and other supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. Building on this history, Boundless Health expands services to include primary and dental care, offering patients a convenient, integrated hub for person-centered care. The organization focuses on coordinated mental health, behavioral health, primary and preventive healthcare, and comprehensive dental services. The Dental Hygienist is a full-time, on-site role located in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, including dental cleanings, periodontal assessments, and patient education on oral hygiene and disease prevention. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing medical and dental histories, taking and processing x-rays as allowed by licensure, performing dental prophylaxis, assisting with the identification and management of periodontal disease, and documenting care in electronic health records. The Dental Hygienist will collaborate closely with dentists and other care team members to support integrated care, maintain a safe and compliant clinical environment, and ensure a positive, inclusive experience for patients of all ages and abilities.

Strong clinical foundation in dentistry and dental care, with the ability to provide high-quality preventive and supportive services.

Demonstrated expertise in hygiene and dental prophylaxis, including thorough cleanings, scaling, and polishing techniques.

Current state licensure as a Dental Hygienist (or eligibility for licensure in Ohio) and CPR/BLS certification.

Experience working with diverse patient populations, including individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges.

Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) documentation and adherence to infection control and safety protocols.

Associate or bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
