Medical Lab Scientist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Lab Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures that are essential for patient care. Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.

Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving.

Report accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care.

Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.

Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary.

Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology, or meet local regulatory CLIA State requirements.

• 2-4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience.
• State Medical Technologist license is a plus.
• Proficient with computers.
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus.

Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs.

You will work in a laboratory setting that prioritizes safety and proper use of personal protective equipment. Hours: 1st week of training 7a-330p M-F, 2nd and 3rd week 6a-230p Tu-Sat, the permanent schedule after training will be 10p-630am W-Sun. This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
