Title
Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry
Schedule
Shift: Nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts
Assignment Details
Patient Population: Adults recovering from cardiac interventions and hemodynamically stable cardiac patients
Requirements

• Minimum: 2 years of experience preferred/required
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Experience with cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Skills in management of vasoactive drips (no titration), blood product administration, and IV starts
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients recovering from cardiac interventions
• Provide post-operative care for patients following cardiac surgery and other procedures
• Administer medications and manage treatments per protocol
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care plans and recovery

Compliance / Notes

• License: State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Onboarding: Core items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• All requests for time off (RTO) must be listed at submittal
