As an Onboarding Specialist, your contributions will ensure the Onboarding Team can consistently provide high-quality social and developmental experiences to all new SpaceX employees. Your efforts will ensure we can maximize the Onboarding Team's impact on new hires, helping them become great SpaceX employees quickly. Help manage and scale the company’s domestic onboardingprogram

Lead design, development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of orientation andonboardingprograms with innovative strategies and tools

Partner with stakeholders across the company to update all new hire information for current company practices and policies

Develop and act on a deep understanding of internal onboarding-related systems (Workday, Jira, Greenhouse, etc.)

Provide outstanding service to our customers by responding in a timely manner to their questions

Identify and implement positive employee experiences to help new SpaceX employees adapt to company and team cultures quickly

Partner with HR leadership to create and implement impactful onboarding-related resources for hiring managers, company leadership, and other stakeholders in the onboarding process

Bachelor's degree

2+ years of professional experience in onboarding, learning and development, human resources, or program management

Prior experience leading projects from inception to implementation

Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook

Familiarity with SharePoint or other content management system

Familiarity with Greenhouse and Workday a plus

Position requires ability to travel up to 20% of the time

This is not a remote position and will require relocation if not already local to the Palo Alto, CA area

Level 1: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00
Level 2: $105,000.00 - $145,000.00
