Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Aurora, COMake a meaningful impact by supporting a classroom dedicated to students on the autism spectrum in an elementary school setting. This contract opportunity takes place near Aurora, CO and runs through the end of May 2027, with immediate start available. You’ll be the lead in a classroom of 10 older elementary students, providing behavioral support with a strong focus on consistency, co-regulation, and positive interventions. You’ll collaborate with an experienced paraprofessional team and play a pivotal role in mentoring a dedicated paraprofessional interested in transitioning to a teaching role in the future.Desired Qualifications:Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification requiredPrevious experience working in school settings, preferably with students with autism spectrum disordersComfortable with physical support, co-regulation, and diapering as neededAbility to lead, train, and support paraprofessionalsStrong communication, collaboration, and organizational skillsMust complete background check and fingerprinting as required by the districtKey Responsibilities:Lead and support an ASD classroom primarily serving students in grades 1-5Develop, implement, and monitor behavioral intervention strategies and support plansFoster a consistent, safe classroom environment while providing physical and emotional supportMentor and guide an aspiring educator pursuing alternative licensureWork closely with a team of paraprofessionals to provide individualized student supportAssist with data collection and reporting to track student progressCommunicate regularly with school staff and families regarding student needs and achievementsThis is a meaningful contract position, offering a set weekly schedule of 37.5 hours and the chance to create stability and growth for students who need it most.If you are ready to take on a pivotal leadership role and help shape a positive, supportive classroom experience, submit your application today!Compensation for this position ranges from $40.00 to $60.00.
