ICU/PCU/Tele Float Unit Registered Nurse

This position requires 3×12 hour shifts per week, with a schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Every other weekend and holiday availability is required, along with floating to Hampden as needed.
The ICU/PCU/Tele Float Unit Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients within the intensive care, progressive care, and telemetry units. This role requires a commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care during their stay.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide optimal patient care
Document patient care activities per established protocols
Educate patients and families about health conditions and recovery processes
Float between units to meet staffing needs as directed
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or Compact State
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Fingerprinting required upon onboarding
This is a 13-week contract position, with specific time off restrictions due to a hospital system-wide Epic implementation from September 1, 2026, to November 15, 2026.
