Associate Attorney (Full-Time Remote position)

Job Overview A law firm seeks a full-time Associate Attorney to join its practice in Biloxi, Mississippi. This role involves handling a diverse caseload related to consumer protection, including transactional and civil litigation matters. The position requires remote communication with the firm's headquarters in New York City.
Duties Maintain and supervise a heavy and diversified caseload in Mississippi.
Communicate with clients regarding their respective matters.
Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and review agreements.
Communicate with opposing parties to resolve or settle claims.
Conduct legal research on contract law and consumer law issues.
Travel for in-court appearances as required.
Requirements Currently admitted to practice law in Mississippi.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
Superior organizational and time-management skills.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in legal research; LexisNexis experience is a plus.
Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications Licensed to practice law in Mississippi.
