Attorney - associate - law

Cassiday Schade LLP is actively seeking an associate attorney for its Rockford, IL office with 1-5 years of experience in civil litigation. The ideal candidate will be licensed in Illinois and have experience as a litigation associate. The associate attorney will be expected to perform the following tasks:

• draft pleadings, motions, orders, discovery and legal memoranda; conduct legal research;
• review client documents, draft case evaluations and prepare status report correspondence;
• interact directly with clients, claim professionals, opposing counsel, colleagues and staff; be licensed to practice law in Illinois;
• be proficient with Lexis and MS Office;
• demonstrate strong legal research and analytical skills;
