Paediatric Schools Speech and Language Therapist

Company Description We partner with schools and educational organizations to provide high-quality, student-centered speech and language services. As a contractor, you will collaborate closely with school teams while managing your own schedule and professional practice. Role Description The School Speech Language Pathologist will provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students in an on-site school setting in Norwalk, CT. This full-time role includes conducting screenings and comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans and IEP goals, and delivering therapy in individual and group formats. The therapist will collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support academic and social success, participate in IEP meetings, and document progress in accordance with school and state requirements. Daily responsibilities also involve maintaining accurate records, completing required reports, and ensuring compliance with all professional, ethical, and legal standards related to school-based practice. Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current state licensure (Connecticut) as a Speech-Language Pathologist and eligibility for or possession of ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
Experience in school-based practice, including evaluation and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders in children and adolescents.
Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and progress monitoring.
