Shift: 12-Hour Day (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours/Week

We are seeking an experienced MedSurg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic healthcare team. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care, perform clinical assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes across assigned units.
Unit Details

Unit: 3N Medical Telemetry (31 Beds)
RN: 1:5–6 (up to 1:7–8 during surge)
Peritoneal Dialysis (PD)
Diabetes Mellitus
Behavioral Health
Deliver high-quality patient care in a MedSurg/Telemetry environment
Trach care
Drain/tube care (PEG, JP, Hemovac, Dobhoff, Flexiseal)

Provide patient education and discharge planning
Minimum 18 months of MedSurg/Telemetry RN experience
Active RN License
Strong clinical skills in stroke care and telemetry monitoring

EMR: Epic
Charge Nurse (may have patients)
Phlebotomy Team
Respiratory Therapy (24/7)
Hospitalist (24/7)
Intensivist coverage
Required to float within Region 1 facilities (Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division, etc.)
May float mid-shift; travel time is paid
Must be flexible within scope of practice
Weekend Rotation: Every Other Weekend
Holiday Requirement: 75% of holidays
Up to 6 days RTO (excluding holidays)
2 Days Unit/Department Training

Travelers must reside 50 miles from facility
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. RN - MedSurg/Tele
