Pride Health is hiring a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to support our client’s medical facility in San Juan Capistrano, CA . This is a 3+ months with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Title: Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Perform routine and complex laboratory tests.

Check specimen quality and ensure proper specimen handling.

Accurately enter, review, and report laboratory results.

Perform quality control, calibration, and equipment checks.

Troubleshoot testing or equipment issues and report problems when needed.

Prepare and maintain reagents, controls, and laboratory supplies.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.

Follow PPE, safety, waste disposal, and infection‑control procedures.

Communicate effectively with laboratory staff, managers, customers, and suppliers.

Participate in staff meetings, quality improvement, training, and continuing education.

Answer phones and handle messages professionally.

0-3 years of direct laboratory experience.

Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or Life/Physical Sciences — Required.

Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Strong typing and computer skills.

Laboratory automation experience preferred.

Ability to safely handle laboratory materials and equipment.

Good color vision may be required for certain laboratory testing.
