Burnt Store Marina, located in Punta Gorda, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Line Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Compensation: $20.00 hourly Responsibilities:

Collects food and beverage products and small wares required for item preparation.
Handles assigned stations on the line and helps run service.
Operates food production equipment according to manufacturers' instructions.
Assists in plating food items for members and guests.
Notifies Chef in advance of expected product shortages.
Handles leftover food items as instructed by the Chef.
Makes sure all items are wrapped, dated, labeled, and stored properly.
Returns soiled food preparation utensils and small wares to the proper areas.
Cleans preparation and serving equipment and serving line with the team.
Cleans assigned workstation areas with the team.
Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling practices.
Keeps walk-ins clean and organized and up to code.
Sets-up plating line and assists with plating duties.
Assists with preparation of other food products in any other area of the kitchen as needed.
Performs other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Chef.
Works well with others.
