Purchasing Buyer, Senior

Buyer to support procurement and supply chain operations for a growing defense and electronics manufacturing organization. This individual will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, issuing and tracking purchase orders, expediting materials, resolving shortages, and ensuring materials are delivered on time to support manufacturing operations.

Expedite materials and resolve any shortages promptly.

Ensure timely delivery of materials to support manufacturing operations.

Work closely with the manufacturing supply chain to optimize operations.

3+ years of purchasing experience in electronics manufacturing.

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience purchasing electronic components.

Ability to support manufacturing operations effectively.

Willingness to jump in wherever needed and operate with minimal supervision.

The role requires working onsite 5 days per week at the Sunnyvale manufacturing and operations site, which has approximately 40 employees. The company is a defense contractor supporting government programs, with approximately 100 employees company-wide. This is a Contract position based out of Sunnyvale, CA.
