Porter - Service Department

The Larson Group Peterbilt is looking for an experienced Truck Porter to join our dynamic team. The Truck Porter is responsible for maintaining and organizing the New and Used Truck Lots. This position may at times transfer equipment to other TLG Dealerships.

Bi-weekly Pay Schedule

Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance.

Must be friendly and courteous to all customers.

Operate equipment in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.

Ensures all trucks start and move on a weekly basis.

Transports trucks as needed to fuel or deliver to customers.

Ensures that trucks have sufficient fuel for test drives. Installs TLG mud flaps on all trucks and performs minor repairs and other installations.

Ensures proper operation of all lights and air systems.

Notifies manager immediately of defects on trucks.

Assist parts and service department as needed.

Must possess a high school diploma.

Must possess or obtain a Class A CDL.

A mechanical aptitude is recommended.
