Perioperative Registered Nurse - Part Time

We are seeking an experienced , part-time , Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team at Memorial Hermann Surgery Center – Southwest. This role is essential to ensuring safe and efficient surgical care. Prepare the operating room and ensure all necessary equipment and instruments are available and functioning.

Assess patients before surgery, verify consents, and address any immediate concerns.

Serve as a circulating nurse during procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and patient safety protocols.

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to ensure smooth workflow.

Maintain accurate, detailed documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.

Follow AORN standards and facility policies consistently.

Participate in ongoing quality improvement and performance initiatives.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Current Texas RN license (or compact license).

Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required;
