Counselor M-F flexible hours

Job Summary The Counselor provides support to patients by helping them identify strengths and align them with social, educational, and vocational goals. Counselors report to the Counselor Supervisor or Program Director and are responsible for patient services, adherence to schedules, program policies, and applicable regulatory standards. Coordinate care with community providers and prepare inter-agency reports as required.
Support new program implementation as directed by the Program Director.
Perform OBOT (Office-Based Opioid Treatment) services as required.
Participate in community outreach and public relations activities when assigned.
Comply with all federal, state, local, and accrediting body regulations.
LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
If not fully licensed, candidates must be enrolled in or willing to begin a formal course of study toward licensure at the date of hire.
Proficiency with basic computer programs and office equipment
Knowledge of human behavior, substance use disorders, and treatment planning
Ability to support the rehabilitation and recovery of patients
