The center is located in a state-of-the-art, 40,000-square-foot facility within the Joseph Brown Whitehead Building, next to our Campus Recreation Center. Stamps Health Services provides care in six areas: Primary care, women's health, Psychiatry, Travel/Immunization/Allergy, Pharmacy, and Diagnostic Services (lab and radiology).

Provide clinical nursing care and education to patients within the scope of Stamps Health Services (SHS) and in accordance with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: students, health services staff, and visitors. This position typically will advise and counsel: students, health services staff, and visitors. Job Duty 1 - Practice safe, effective and appropriate clinical nursing in accordance with SHS policies and procedures and within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act of Georgia. perform and document patient assessments, nursing interventions, education and follow-up treatment and services. Support work of other clinic team members; Participate in research and performance improvement projects that enhance practice and improve patient care. Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience

ACLS, ANCC certification in Ambulatory Nursing

Position requires outstanding customer service skills, ability to maintain customer-focus in all contacts; Additional skills required: ability to follow doctors', nurse practitioners' and physician assistant's orders, carry out instructions and responsibilities thoroughly and completely, and ability to work independently without close supervision. Position requires knowledge of laws such as Right to Know, HIPAA, and infection control policies.

Salary: $32,000.00- $32,600.00 (16 hours weekly)
