Lhoist North America's New Braunfels Plant is a 400,000 ton per year industrial lime manufacturer located in New Braunfels, Texas. The Bagger is both a production and shipping position, responsible for filling and loading of bagged hydrated lime products.

Responsible for the proper filling and shipping of bag products to comply with company specifications and customer requirements.

Ensure proper operation and care of packing equipment to maximize bag filling efficiency, maintain bag weight accuracy, and preservation of company assets.

Continuously inspect all bagging related equipment to detect mechanical problems and ensure employee safety.

Conduct quality control sampling to ensure quality of product being bagged.

Assist maintenance with preventative care and minor repairs of bagging equipment.

Maintain daily operating report and bag inventory levels.

Industrial background with good troubleshooting skills.

Knowledgeable of current environmental regulations and practices as they relate to the lime industry.

Be able to work shift work, seven days a week, including holidays, and be flexible to schedule changes, including overtime.

Must have a telephone and be receptive to call-outs

Must be capable of working shift work, overtime, seven days, or holidays, if needed

Demonstrated skills of heavy equipment operation a plus, but minimum as demonstrated for an over the road haul truck

History of safe operation of vehicle as demonstrated on driving record

Must be able to perform in compliance with all task training requirements

Tolerate working outside in severe weather conditions as well as exposure to industrial high temperature, noise and dust.

Access all areas within a site which could include heights of 120 feet, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and accessing tunnels.

Required Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Preffered Experience: 0-3 months of industrial experience is preferred.
