Maintenance (Part-Time Painter)

Job Title: Part-Time Painter/Maintenance Technician
Position Summary This position is part-time with a primary focus on painting and finishing work, with the secondary ability to perform basic facility maintenance tasks as needed.The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently without hands‑on supervision. Essential Functions Painting and Finishing (Primary Duties) Perform interior and exterior painting, including surface preparation, priming, and finish coats
Perform drywall patching and preparation prior to painting.
Ensure clean, professional results consistent with quality and safety standards.
General Maintenance (Secondary Duties) Perform general cleaning and upkeep of buildings and properties, including ground maintenance.
Perform grass cutting and weeding or multiple yards and properties.
Perform other duties needed to help drive our vision, and fulfill our mission, that “The poor should never be treated poorly.”
Education/Experience High School diploma or equivalent-REQUIRED
(1) one year painting experience-REQUIRED
Ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including outdoors in heat and cold.
Ability to work at heights using ladders and scaffolding
Provide appropriate documents to complete the I-9 requirement.
Skills and Knowledge Demonstrated painting skills including surface preparation and finish work
Ability to differentiate between what can be done in‑house, and what will need to be done by a contractor.
