Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives. Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Floater to join our team in Tifton, GA. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm (12:30-1:30pm lunch break) scheduled hours vary between 6:30am-5:30pm depending on business needs and travel and rotating Saturdays. The floater will cover IOPs, PSCs, both Walgreens and standalone locations with travel for Albany, Tifton, Valdosta, and surrounding counties.
Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
Preferred Qualifications 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience
Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Additional $1.00/hour plus mileage reimbursement.
