Telemetry monitoring skills

Description: The registered nurse will provide care in a progressive cardiac care unit. Patient care is focused on cardiac conditions such as congestive heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, and arrhythmias. Responsibilities include pre- and post-cardiac catheterization care, monitoring patients, and managing complications. The nurse will be required to use telemetry and provide procedural sedation administration. The unit operates 7 days a week and provides round-the-clock care. Rooms are monitored remotely for patient safety. Weekend shifts and holiday coverage may be necessary. Nurse assistants will be available for support 24/7. The facility utilizes a self-assisted scheduling system. All registered nurses must pass a required EKG exam during the compliance process. Travel nurses are welcome to apply.
