Maintenance Tech
The Warbler is a new 58-room boutique hotel opening on New Orleans' historic St. Charles Avenue, home to Mildred's Restaurant & Bar, a caf, and a rooftop bar. We're hiring a Maintenance Tech to help keep the property running ahead of our September 2026 opening reporting to the Chief Engineer.
The Warbler Hotel | New Orleans, LA | Full-Time | $19.00 per hour
What You'll Do
Perform general repairs plumbing, PTAC units, furniture, fixtures, electronic locks, painting, and carpentry
Complete routine equipment checks and preventative maintenance on hotel machinery
Respond to guest maintenance requests promptly and courteously
Care for the hotel's grounds and pool, including daily chemical checks
Communicate promptly with Guest Services and Housekeeping on room readiness
What You'll Need
Minimum one year of general building maintenance experience or equivalent trade profession experience
Vocational school certification preferred
Hotel or boutique/lifestyle property experience is a plus
Comfort with physical work: walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays; must be legally authorized to work in the United States
