Job Description

You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair advanced electrical and electronics systems and components on a variety of aircraft platforms, ensuring systems operate to full performance.

You will diagnose complex electrical issues, including system failures and malfunctions, and develop innovative solutions to restore aircraft systems to full operation status.

You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.

You will be required to obtain and maintain required level(s) of certification, license and/or training.

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. Any weight to be lifted in excess of 40 lbs. will not be attempted unaided. This position requires exposure to high noise levels. Hearing protection must be worn at all times during working hours in Production areas and Double protection must be worn for noise levels exceeding 96 DBA.
