TEI Hospitality is hiring to join our team! Pelican Pete's is a well-loved tiki-style restaurant on Lake Lanier in Gainesville, GA. At Pelican Pete's, we're all about having a good time. As Lake Lanier's only floating tiki bar and restaurant, we offer a one-of-a-kind waterfront experience featuring unbeatable lake views, live music, and some of the best food and drinks on the lake. Centered around good food, good drinks, and good times, Pelican Pete's continues to be a favorite gathering place for locals and visitors alike.
Responsibilities:

Greeting guests warmly and create a positive first impression.
Manage reservations and the waitlist during high-volume periods.
Coordinate seating and maintain smooth table turnover.
Introduce guests to their server for a seamless transition.
Engage in friendly conversation while seating guests promptly.
Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly for the next guest.
Thank guests sincerely upon departure and invite them to return.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations.
Adhere to company policies and hospitality standards.
Requirements:

Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
Basic knowledge of reservation systems (OpenTable experience is a plus).
Ability to stand for extended periods and move quickly between tasks.
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
