By fostering a vibrant, energetic atmosphere on the casino floor, you help make each guest's visit exciting and memorable.**Job Description:**Essential Functions and Responsibilities* Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture* Monitor assigned slot section(s) efficiently while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment* Proactively assist guests by responding to service lights, processing jackpots, redeeming ticket vouchers, and making minor machine repairs* Refill printer vouchers, inspect for counterfeit currency, and enter jackpot data accurately into the computer system* Handle and secure company-issued keys in compliance with departmental procedures* Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor while resolving guest disputes and promoting special offers or property amenities* Communicate effectively with team members via radio to ensure smooth operations* Maintain an accurate assigned currency bank and follow all proper money-handling procedures* Coordinate with Casino Operations and Security to detect and report any suspicious behavior or attempts to cheat* Notify Slot Operations management of floor irregularities and escalate issues as needed* Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position* Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards* Perform other duties as assignedQualifications* 6 months of experience in a guest service or casino operations role preferred* Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a high-paced environment* Comfortable learning and retaining working knowledge of slot machines, payout procedures, and documentation requirements* Experience handling cash and operating systems such as computers, radios, scanners, and adding machines* Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment* Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team* Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment* Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer systemRequirements* At least 21 years of age* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred* Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal* Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company* Verify right to work in the United StatesWork Cards* Nevada Gaming RegistrationPhysical Requirements* Frequently push/pull up to 50lbs.* at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels* Frequently Squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist* Regularly sit and work at a desk or computer* Frequently standing and walking* Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone* Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person* Ability to distinguish between shades of color* Ability to tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterityWork Environment Potential Conditions* Indoor* Smoky* Noisy* Bright flashing lights* Extreme hot cold temperatures* Slippery surfaces* Exposure to dust, fumes and/or gasesDisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
