Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Processing and Accessioning team for Invitae in San Francisco, CA.Work Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 8:30am-5pm. During training, for the first few months, schedule will be Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm.Perform clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operating proceduresPrepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingUnpack and route specimens to their respective staging areasAccurately identify and label specimensPack and ship specimens to proper testing facilitiesMeet department activity and production goalsProperly prepare and store excess specimen samplesData entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerResolve and document any problem specimensMinimum Qualification:High School Diploma or GED equivalentPreferred Qualifications:Current or prior Labcorp experience6 months or more of experience in a lab or specimen processing6 months or more of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory environment6 months or more of experience in the healthcare industry, such as a physician's office, clinic or hospital6 months or more of experience in an assembly or manufacturing production environmentAdditional Job Standards:Comfortable handling biological specimensAbility to accurately identify specimensExperience working in a team environmentStrong data entry and organizational skillsHigh level of attention to detailProficient in MS OfficeAbility to lift up to 40lbs.Able to pass a standardized colorblindness test**Pay Range: $23.69 - $28.47 per hour. All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
