Warehouse Forklift Material Handler Logistics

Job Title: Material Handler Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team in the Receiving & Shipping department. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, at our Wichita, KS location. Move inventory and equipment to designated locations for storage or processing.
Pull and assemble orders based on work/shipping orders or documentation.
Coordinate and execute material handling tasks.
Perform quality control inspections and sort/package parts as directed.
Tag materials for identification and complete required documentation.
Operate yard trucks, forklifts, and overhead cranes for loading and unloading trailers.
Conduct spot checks on inventory and complete daily checks for material tagging.
Report irregularities to the supervisor and adhere to safety and quality standards.
Proficiency in operating motorized material handling equipment.
~ Basic computer proficiency.

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Experience in warehousing and material handling preferred.
Experience with forklift operations and overhead crane usage is a plus.
Work Environment The work environment is in a production/manufacturing setting, requiring the use of specialized equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.
