Job Description
Nurse - Acute Care
Schedule
12-Hour Night Shift, every other weekend. Floating occurs in 4-hour blocks while on shift.
Assignment Details
Guaranteed Hours: 72 Hours Biweekly
Contract Weeks: 8
Requirements
BLS certification required, ACLS and NIHSS preferred.
Must be able to titrate pressors.
Level 1 trauma experience preferred; required if no prior travel experience has been noted.
Epic experience required.
Ratios of 1:3-5; expected to float to various units.
Must have separated from previous employment with the facility for a minimum of 6 months to be considered.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to assigned patients.
Monitor and assess patient conditions and reactions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Coordinate with healthcare team members for comprehensive patient care.
Document patient care and report any changes to the medical staff.
