Overview Radiology Technologist Grundy County Memorial Hospital Department: Medical Imaging Services Shift/Schedule: Full-Time | 32 Hours per Week | Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM–11:00 PM

Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and department protocols

Position patients appropriately and obtain high-quality diagnostic images

Prioritize patient safety by following radiation protection and ALARA guidelines

Accurately document exams and maintain imaging records within electronic systems

Collaborate with providers and care teams to support timely patient care

Monitor imaging equipment, perform quality control activities, and report concerns as needed

Maintain a clean, organized, and ready-to-use imaging environmentAssist with patient transport and support patient comfort throughout procedures

Respond effectively to urgent situations while maintaining quality and efficiency

Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities

Qualifications Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Associate Degree in a Radiologic Technology preferred. Certificate from an Education Program Accredited by the JRCERT required.

Certification(s)/License(s):

Certified and holds current registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).

Holds current Permit to Practice radiology in the state of Iowa.
