Registered Nurse (RN) - Evening/Overnight

Registered Nurse - Intake Assessment and Referrals (PRN Nights 7pm-7am)
Responsible for delivering quality nursing care to psychiatric and chemically dependent patients, including adults, geriatrics, adolescents, and seniors. Conducts assessments, places referrals, communicates with referral sources, discharges patients, and connects clients to community resources.

Responsibilities
Deliver safe and effective nursing care to a diverse patient population, including adults, geriatrics, adolescents, and seniors. Assess needs of walk-in and phone callers and ensure appropriate referral or service. Perform all aspects of assessment and referral processes, including communication with referral sources, patient/client disposition, arranging hospital transfer/discharge, and connecting with community agencies and resources.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing school.

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse; at least 6 months in psychiatric nursing preferred.

Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
