Full Stack Engineering

We're supporting a small, founder-led software company in the Austin area that is looking to add a Full Stack Engineer to its growing team. The company has an established product, active customers, and investor support behind its growth plans. The technical co-founder currently owns a significant portion of the development workload, and this hire will play a critical role in helping scale engineering capacity while taking ownership of new features and product enhancements. The core platform is already built, and the focus is on building, improving, and expanding product functionality alongside a small team of highly experienced engineers. Build and enhance product features across both frontend and backend systems
Own projects from design through deployment
Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making as the platform evolves
Help reduce development bottlenecks by taking ownership of meaningful product work
Mid-Level Engineer: Approximately 5–6 years of professional software development experience
Strong full stack development experience
Approximately 7–8+ years of professional software development experience
Proven track record owning features and projects end-to-end
Backend: Kotlin, Spring Boot, MariaDB
Frontend: React, Vue.js, JavaScript / TypeScript
Bonus Experience: Unity, Startup product development, SaaS applications
Contract to Hire
Most of the engineering team has worked together for years and enjoys being in the office to collaborate on product development.
