Full-Time Instructor for Education

We need a bachelors degree or equivalent, or at least one year of related experience and/or training in basic education or career-focused workplace instruction.

We prefer bilingual candidates.

We need experience engaging effectively with adult learners.

We need experience developing curriculum based on student needs assessments and intended course outcomes.

We need proficiency with advanced computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

We provide hands-on life and career readiness instruction to youth and adults enrolled in our programs.

We deliver workshops, seminars, and classroom-based training across multiple WorkPlace initiatives.

We collaborate on strategies that improve access and educational success for underrepresented student populations.

We foster an inclusive learning environment grounded in equity, diversity, and multicultural awareness.

We adapt curriculum to meet the needs of participants with emerging language, math, or reading skills.

We assess program outcomes to support continuous improvement and stronger student learning.

We monitor, document, and review participant performance and provide guidance for improvement.

We partner with agencies, project team members, and employers to identify academic and occupational skills needed for employment in growing industries.

We help develop, update, and maintain curriculum focused on the world of work, soft skills, and workplace conduct.

We are hiring a full-time, non-exempt Workforce Readiness Instructor for our WorkPlace location at 1000 Lafayette. The position supports a variety of programs, including CareerHub (Youth), Reentry, Platform to Employment Youth, Apprenticeship, Mortgage Crisis Training, EnvironmentalWorks, YouthBuild, Veterans, and MaturityWorks.
