ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (Night Shift) in Rochester, New York.

Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Shift hours are 1900p-0700a or 0700a-1900p, with a weekend requirement of every other weekend. Must also be available for every other holiday if needed.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide care in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit, focusing on cardiac monitoring and emergency response. Responsibilities include interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, administering oxygen and non-invasive airway management, and performing IV therapy and phlebotomy with peripheral line care. The facility utilizes EPIC for charting, and nurses must be familiar with this system.
Responsibilities
Monitor and manage patients with cardiac conditions, interpreting dysrhythmias and responding to emergencies.
Administer oxygen therapy, including the use of nasal cannulas and tanks.
Provide IV therapy, including phlebotomy and peripheral line care/management.
Implement isolation precautions and adhere to safety protocols.
Float to other units as required, maintaining care within the established skillset.
Required Experience
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry setting.
Previous charge experience is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
Must have an active New York Single State RN license (NY is not Compact).
Current BLS and NIHSS certifications are required.
