Registered Nurse Emergency

A professional nurse is accountable for the care of a group of patients. The Registered Nurse focuses on safe, effective patient and family-centered care, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes. The RN is responsible for assisting in maintaining a financially stable unit. The RN promotes personal development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education supported by a governance framework. The RN supervises licensed and non-licensed staff members. The RN is responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care. The RN focuses on patient and family comforts, education, and satisfaction. The RN applies educational and professional experiences in the delivery of quality care and mentoring staff.

Perform assessments and reassessments per policy or as warranted by patient condition.

Initiate, prioritize, and implement the plan of care and review and revise as indicated.

Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary services.

Monitor and document the response to clinical interventions.

Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts.

Comply with regulatory standards and participate in the governance model.
