Shift Hours: 12 hours per night
Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours
Required Qualifications: Valid North Carolina Paramedic Certification; Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), PHTLs /ITLS (Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support / International Trauma Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support); at least 0 years of relevant experience; valid drivers license with 2 years of satisfactory driving experience to meet insurance guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with behavioral health transport; boarded with Buncombe County Medical Director; bachelors degree in EMS; active National Registry listing.
Additional Information: One weekend per month scheduled; floating area includes behavioral health transport, wheelchair van, or BLS van depending on staffing. Uniform provided.
