Advanced Registered Nurse

Position Overview We are offering a $10,000 sign‑on bonus for full‑time Nurse Supervisors at Encompass Health. This role involves leading and supporting the nursing team throughout patients' rehabilitation journeys, ensuring high quality, compassionate care.

Responsibilities Assist in development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.

Serve as critical liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.

Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services provided during assigned shifts or on a specific unit.

Monitor and manage staff, providing on‑the‑spot feedback, annual evaluations, and performance counseling and discipline.

Assume patient care as needed, building meaningful relationships with patients and addressing their physical, mental, and emotional needs.

Celebrate patient victories and milestones.

Qualifications Registered Nurse licensure as required by state regulations.

BLS certification; ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position.

CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting eligibility requirements.

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.

Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years).

Previous leadership role such as charge nurse or lead capacity with responsibility for reporting, issue resolution, direction setting, and accountability for patient and staff results.
