The ideal candidate will have extensive experience diagnosing, repairing, installing, and testing marine mechanical equipment with minimal supervision while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.Position OverviewThe Outside Machinist – Hydraulic Systems is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, overhaul, and testing of shipboard propulsion, hydraulic, auxiliary, and mechanical systems. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, and hands-on experience with rotating equipment, pumps, valves, compressors, and hydraulic systems.
