Senior Missile Tracking Systems Engineer

We are hiring a Senior Missile Tracking Systems Engineer to support the U.Space Force Space Development Agency (SDA) Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) Ground Management and Integration (GMI) program. This cleared systems engineering role requires U.S. citizenship, an active DoD Top Secret clearance, and experience developing complex systems, architectures, interfaces, algorithms, and mission capabilities supporting satellite-based missile tracking and ground systems.

This role supports the development and deployment of advanced SDA ground operational systems, including ground entry points, operations centers, enterprise test and checkout capabilities, and infrastructure management. The engineer will focus on missile tracking systems engineering, satellite and payload scheduling, missile tracking data analysis and fusion, system architecture, requirements decomposition, integration, testing, and opportunities to apply artificial intelligence (AI) to mission capabilities.

Responsibilities Perform systems engineering for the Space Development Agency PWSA Ground Management and Integration program.

Support the evolution, expansion, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of ground operational systems.

Develop and support ground entry points, operations centers, enterprise test and checkout capabilities, and infrastructure management.

Analyze and fuse missile tracking data provided by satellites for ground processing and rapid information dissemination.

Support systems engineering, integration, testing, maintenance, and site activities across the PWSA ground architecture.

Identify opportunities to apply artificial intelligence (AI) to continuous improvement, mission performance, and system innovation.

Collaborate within a cross-functional engineering team developing and deploying mission-critical space and ground systems.

S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work performed within classified facilities.

Active Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance required at time of hire.

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics (STEM) field with 8+ years of job-related experience; Systems engineering experience supporting complex system development, architecture, requirements, interfaces, integration, and/or testing.

Ability to work at least three days per week on-site or fully on-site based on program requirements.

Preferred Qualifications Agile development experience.

Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application to system design and deployment.

Experience with image processing, including image collection, handling, storage, and analysis.
