As a Physical Therapist, you will utilize various exercises to help patients increase strength, range of motion, endurance and coordination. Ultimately, your unconditional support and reassurance can drive them to work hard and regain their health.
A caregiver in this position works PRN (as needed) from 7:45am – 4:00 pm or 10:00am – 6:15pm. Will require 1-2 evening shifts with anticipation of approximately 20-30 +/hrs./Availability around holiday weeks is expected.
Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
Interpret plans and supervise patient treatments in accordance with the physician referral, ensuring the care, safety and wellbeing of the patient.
Make recommendations to the physician relative to the need to continue or discontinue physical therapy treatment.
Provide appropriate documentation of each patient visit in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Be responsible for the maintenance and care of all equipment and apparatus.
Provide appropriate billing for each patient visit in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Assist in on-the-job training of all ancillary personnel.
Bachelor's Degree or certificate
Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association or a related international degree
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
Internship experience
Experience in Occupational Therapy or Rehab
